Market Guidelines
- Target Large and Mid-cap companies, meaning those with a Market Capitalization over $1-2 Billion.
- Keep an ESG focus in accordance with our sustainability focus: Limit equities that harm the environment.
- Limit any singular equity holding to a maximum of 10%.
Investment Advisory Commitee of the Board
- Assist and guide the Student Investment Fund.
- Has the final veto and oversees major decisions.

- A study by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) found that the average endowment for colleges with strong alumni engagement programs was $1.5 billion, compared to $900 million for colleges with weak alumni engagement programs.

Enviornmental Exclusions
- Fossil Fuel Extraction: Companies deriving 5% or more revenue from thermal coal mining and unconventional oil and gas extraction
- Thermal coal power: Companies deriving 5% or more revenue from thermal coal-based power generation.
- Palm oil: Companies deriving 5% or more revenue from the production of palm oil.
Social Exclusions
- Tobacco: Companies classified as producers or deriving 5% or more revenue from the production, distribution, retail, supply, and licensing of tobacco-related products.
- Civilian firearms: Companies classified as producers of firearms and small arms ammunition for the civilian market or deriving 5% or more revenue from the distribution of firearms or small arms ammunition.
Governance Exclusions
- UN global compact: Companies that are not in compliance with the United Nations Global Compact principles
